Alone In Rome is a hard rock band built on friendship, grit, and raw passion. Formed by Danish musicians Mikkel Lyneborg (guitar/producer) and Tobias Korfits (drums), the band found its third member, Dutch guitarist Jorg Fennik, through a Slash fan group. The chemistry was instant.
Their debut single "Don’t Wait For Me" was written remotely between Denmark and the Netherlands, then recorded together in Copenhagen. Produced and mixed by Mikkel, the track earned praise from Chris Baseford (Nickelback, Daughtry) for its songwriting and over all sound
Inspired by Mammoth, Alter Bridge, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, and Guns N’ Roses, Alone In Rome blends heavy riffs with melodic grooves. The lyrics reflect the struggle of being stuck in places that drain you—school, work—while dreaming of the stage.
Live shows are all about energy and honesty. With limited rehearsal time, the band meets up, locks in, and delivers no-bullshit rock with smiles and sweat. It’s not about perfection—it’s about connection.
The dream? To tour the world, build a community, and live through music. Alone In Rome isn’t chasing fame—they’re chasing moments that matter.
